Matenadaran

One of the breathtaking museums of Armenia is Matenadaran – the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, which is in the center of Yerevan.

The word "matenadaran" means "scriptorium" in English, a more accurate translation is "library of manuscripts."

It is the world's largest repository of Armenian manuscripts.
